The African Research Collaborative (ARC) is a research-focused academic organization that designs faculty-led study abroad programs, student research initiatives, and institutional partnerships across Africa and the African Diaspora. ARC connects universities, faculty, and students to Africa through ethical, inquiry-driven global engagement rooted in education, culture, and community partnership.

Reciprocal partnerships connecting students, faculty, and institutions through collaborative research, teaching exchanges, and scholarly dialogue.

Identity-centered initiatives for K–12 and community youth, including global learning travel, STEAM education, and literacy-focused programming.

The African Research Collaborative (ARC) is a 501(c)(3) academic organization dedicated to advancing global learning through research-centered travel, institutional partnerships, and culturally grounded education initiatives.


ARC was founded to move beyond traditional study abroad models by centering research, ethics, and long-term collaboration in international education.
