WHO WE ARE

The African Research Collaborative is research-based institute organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The nonprofit corporation is focused on advancing a cultural approach to global citizenship through transnational research, education and civic engagement.

WHAT WE DO

The mission of the African Research Collaborative (ARC) is to provide educational and public outreach focused on global citizenship and cultural diversity through transnational research, education and civic ethical, mutually beneficial, and culturally appropriate transnational research and engagement globally. 

ARC programming furthers exempt purposes of charitable (advancing education), educational (capacity development) and scientific (scientific education of college/university students) goals. ARC provides educational instruction public outreach to develop research capacities through the following charter programs:

International Community Service Program and STEMI Abroad Mentorship Program.

INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM

Reinforcing our Commitment

International Community Service provides an opportunity for high school students to engage in an innovative international community service and transnational research. A total of 12 girls in the United States will be recruited to participate in the program. The program will be advertised on the ARC website.
