MRS. SUSAN MURABANA

Mrs. Susan Murabana is the co-founder and the CEO of The Travelling Telescope, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting astronomy in Africa. Her organization introduces school kids to astronomy and STEM through mobile and planetarium-based educational programs and her work has reached kids and adults across Africa.

Mrs. Murabana has a degree in social sciences Economics and Sociology and an online masters program in Astronomy. She is the President of the newly formed African Planetarium society and serves on the board of International Planetarium Society.  She is also a 2020/2021 United Nations Space for Women mentor.
